So sorry to read of Doug’s passing. I worked with him for many years at the Post Office. He taught me so much about gardening and flowers. He used to bring in photos of the unbelievable gardening projects he was undertaking in his backyard. We also used to chat about his cat…..that decided to live with him! He was quite a character and I really enjoyed working with him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time. I’ll always remember him fondly.

I would like to offer my condolence to Dougs Family. As a neighbor of his he has walked by our house daily for years during the nice weather, and we have talked soo many times. I have had many conversations with him over the years, he has always been such a caring person. I went by his house one day this winter after it had snowed and offered to plow his driveway once again, and of corse he declined again. He said during the winter that was how he got his exercise. I think sometime he would hurry up and shovel his driveway thinking id sneak over there and plow it on him. he was always a independent guy. There aren’t many people like him in the world, and he will be missed! We are here if you guys need anything, and you guys will be in our prayers, may God bless you guys, and keep you. God Bless David Ford Jr.& Family
