Putnam– Dorothy (Lepine) Lariviere, 83, of Steward St., died Monday, December 12, 2011 in the Oakwood Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Webster, MA. She was the loving wife of the late Ernest “Champ” Lariviere. Born in Hartford, CT, she was the daughter of the late Clovis “Jack” Lepine and Anna E. (Duffy) Lepine.
Mrs. Lariviere was a homemaker who loved her family. She was a volunteer for Daily Bread and was a communicant of Most Holy Trinity Church. She also loved dogs.
Dorothy is survived by her sister, Shirley Dowgiewicz of Webster, MA.; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, the late Raymond E. Lariviere.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Dorothy’s family from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, Thursday, December 15, 2011 in the Gilman Funeral Home, 104 Church St., Putnam. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 am in Most Holy Trinity Church, 568 Pomfret Rd, Pomfret, CT. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
