Dayville – Dorothy E. (Wittke) Moore, 85, formerly of Hartford Pike, Dayville, died Saturday, November 6, 2010 in Regency Heights of Norwich. She was the loving wife of the late John Moore, Sr. Born in Manchester CT, she was the daughter of the late Henry “Hans” and Margaret (Zanis) Wittke.
Mrs. Moore enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and crocheting.
Dorothy is survived by her sons, John Moore and his wife Brenda of Enfield, CT, William Moore and his wife Robin of Clarksville, TN, and Gary Moore and his wife Loretta of Coventry; her daughter, Margaret Slattery and her husband Dan of Florida; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
