1933 – 2021
Putnam – Dorothy (Lemoine) Trama, 88, of Putnam, passed away peacefully Friday, September 17, 2021, at home, surrounded by family. She was the loving wife of Peter Trama for 67 years. Born in Norwich, CT, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Florida (Raymond) Lemoine.

Mrs. Trama worked for Putnam Savings Bank for over 20 years. She was also a member of the Daughters of Isabella. She volunteered for the Relay for Life, St. Mary’s Circle of Fun, and baked for church bake sales and her children’s sporting events. In more recent years, she enjoyed races at Saratoga Springs, playing cards, watching her favorite game shows with her husband, and most importantly, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dot is survived by a daughter, Dolores (Michael) Walsh; sons, Peter (Susan) Trama, Jr., Paul (Susan) Trama, Steven (Janet) Trama; grandchildren, Stephanie (Dillon) Serdechny, Karyn Walsh, Timothy (Erin) Trama, Jennifer (Greg) Sanborn, Brandon (Allison) Trama, Ashley (Tonya Van Deinse) Trama, Aaron Trama, Logan Trama; great-grandchildren, Charlotte Trama, Delaney Trama, Taylor Trama, Patrick Trama, Sawyer Sanborn, and her sister, Leona Espinosa.

She was predeceased by siblings, Leo, Arthur, Alice, Jean, Anais, and Diane.

Relatives are invited to visit the Trama family from 9:30-10:30 am on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at the Gilman and Valade Funeral Home, 104 Church Street, Putnam, CT. A public memorial mass will be held at 11:00 am, at St. Mary Church of the Visitation, Providence Street, Putnam, CT.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to one of the following charities: Day Kimball Healthcare at Home – Hospice and Palliative Care of Northeastern CT, the DKH Foundation Office, PO Box 632, Putnam, CT 06260 or Daily Bread, 53 Grove Street, Putnam, CT 06260.

    I am so saddened to hear of your wife/ mom’s passing. The years have flown by since our paths have crossed. Your wife/mom was a very special lady….so sweet and kind. I remember the many times I would babysit for you….. and the times watching you all grow up into a young lady and young gentleman..AND now you have your own children and grandchildren.

    Dear Peter and family, I am so sadden to learn of cousin Dot’s passing. My heart goes out to all of you. I will not be able to attend her services as we reside in Arizona. The last time I saw her was at my Brother Ronnie’s funeral a few years ago. My mother and father were Sam & Mae Raymond. Please accept my deepest sympathy at this most difficult time.
