Killingly – Dorothy Ann (Gambrell) Godsoe, 100, of Ware Rd., beloved wife of the late Clarence H. Godsoe, died Saturday morning, November 19, 2022, at Westview Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. Born in Washita County, OK, she was the daughter of the late James Luther and Alberta (Wheeler) Gambrell.
Mrs. Godsoe worked for many years as a bookkeeper for P & B Jewelry Manufacturing. She enjoyed sewing, reading, traveling, and gardening.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Robert “Butch” L. Godsoe and his wife Vonna of Holderness, NH and Patricia Hedenberg and her husband Frederick of Putnam; her sister, Wilma of OK; her grandchildren, Ryan Godsoe, Matthew Hedenberg and his wife Lisa, and Bethany Kreyssig and her husband Jeff; and her great grandchildren, Kyle, Nathan, and Ryan Kreyssig, and Priscilla, Lynden, and Maggie Godsoe. She was predeceased by her siblings, Doc, Charles, Ernest, Dwayne, Jack, Alton, Lois, Bunea, and Pauline.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at 1:30PM in the Rhode Island Veteran Cemetery, 301 S County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822.
