I was very shocked when my sister Linda called me and told me what had happened, she knew something was wrong when her cat didn’t get fed over the weekend, Dottie always came to her aid.
I was just up their in April for vacation and visited her with my son Bobby and granddaughter Noel. I will always remember her kindness to the cats and her great love for the animals. I will miss seeing her when I come to visit my sister. I wish I could be their physically but having her and the family in my thoughts and prayers will have to do.

My deepest sympathy to Dorothy’s family. I’m very sorry for your loss. Dot was a wonderful person – warm, kind, and caring about people and animals. She was an effective and passionate advocate for those in need. Although I did not know her until after she retired, I can easily imagine that her marvelous sense of humor, knowledge, and compassion helped and cheered many a patient fortunate enough to be in her care. She loved her family and spoke proudly of her grandchildren. I hope your memories of her will help to sustain you through this time of sadness. My memories of her are treasures I shall carry with me always.

I was shocked when I heard the news about Dorothy. My condolences go to the family. I work at the ACCESS Agency in Danielson, CT and “Dottie” worked with us in 2006 and she was a verry kind person. She used to tell us about the animals and I know she really loved them.

Charlie, Connie, & Peter; your mom, my Cousin Dot, will always have a special place in my life. I will miss her voice, her laugh, and they way she said my name. In our phone conversations, she always expressed how much she loved and adored your children. It is a comfort and joy to know that she is, right now, with a sparkle in her eyse, dancing joyfully at the feet of our Lord. My thoughts and prayers are with you ~
