Putnam – Doris Beausoleil, 88, of Providence St, died Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Haven Health Center. She was the loving wife of the late Paul R. Beausoleil. Born in Fitchburg, MA, she was the daughter of the late Aubert Boudreau and Florence (Therien) Boudreau.
Mrs. Beausoleil worked as an assembler at American Optical and also as a sewer for Danielson Curtain. She volunteered as a Foster Grandparent for the Dempsey Center for 23 years. Mrs. Beausoleil was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, The Emblem Club, and the Women’s Auxiliary of the Albert J. Breault VFW Post 1523. She loved to spend time with her family.
Doris is survived by two daughters, Paula Gray and her fiancé John Tomlinson of Thompson and Vivian LaHair and her husband Norman of Thompson; a brother, Harvey Boudreau and his wife Pauline; four grandchildren, Trevor Crawford, Marc Crawford, Heather Livingston, and Sean Gray; and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother Lionel Boudreau and a sister Loretta Divincenzo.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Doris’s family from 9:00 to 10:00am, Monday August 4, 2008 in the Gilman Funeral Home, 104 Church St., Putnam, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St. Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence St., Putnam. Burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
