
N. Grosvenordale – Doris (Tellier) Robillard, 85, of Riverside Drive, died Wednesday, August 27, 2014 in Regency Heights of Danielson. She was the loving wife of the late Raymond M. Robillard. Born in Thompson, she was the daughter of the late Adolph and Marie Rose (Dubeau) Tellier.
Mrs. Robillard worked as a teacher’s aide for Tourtellotte Memorial High School. She also worked for Belding Corticelli, Ethan Allen, and The Webster Times. She enjoyed going to the Casino and was a fan of the New England Patriots.
Doris is survived by her son, Michael J. Robillard of N. Grosvenordale; her daughter Susan-Raye Eklund of N. Grosvenordale; her grandchildren, John Eklund of N. Grosvenordale, and Kristen L. Robillard of Southbridge, MA and her nieces, Joyce Sledzick of Dudley and Linda Manso of N. Grosvenordale. She was the sister of the late Theresa Vaillant, Jeannette Tellier, Anita Cournoyer and Evelyn Galinski and the aunt of the late Nancy Oleszewski.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Doris’s family from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, September 1, 2014 in the Valade Funeral Home, 23 Main St., N. Grosvenordale. A gathering will begin in the funeral home at 9:00 am Tuesday, September 2, 2014, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Joseph Church, 18 Main St., N. Grosvenordale, CT. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Christopher Heights Activity Fund, 338 Thompson Rd., Webster, MA 01570. Dearest Susan my thoughts are with you and John, I know how much Gaga will miss those little pitter patters of his feet from those younger days, and how much Rita LOL will miss all the candy that you used to bring to her each week, NOW she will be with Ray after all these years, I hope that God will bring you good folks all the kindness and this provides a bit of relief to help wipe away the tears in this moment when you need it the most.
