Danielson – Doris (Fortin) Laprade, 85, passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 18, 2021 at Davis Place with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of Arthur Laprade for over 58 years. Born in Cap- Saint- Ignace, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Marie (Sylvain) Fortin.
Mrs. Laprade worked for Crabtree & Evelyn as a Packer.
In addition to her husband Arthur, she is survived by their children: James Laprade (Brenda) of Eastford, CT, Nancy Minarsky of Moosup, CT and Carol Zonts (Joanna) of Virginia Beach, VA. Six grandchildren: Anthony (Amy), Bryant (Cheyenne), Chelsea (Matt), David (Sarah), Amy (Reuben) and Christopher and 3 great-grandchildren: Ayla, August and Jayson. She was predeceased by her brother Richard Fortin.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 AM on Tuesday August 24, 2021 at Most Holy Trinity Church, 568 Pomfret Rd, Pomfret, CT 06259. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 372 Maple St, Danielson, CT 06239. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 200 Executive Blvd, Southington, CT 06489.
