
Donna L. (Lamondy) Bianchi
1947 – 2009
Putnam – Donna L. Bianchi, 61, of Walnut Street, died peacefully at her home on Sunday, November 8, 2009. She was the loving wife of Gerard Bianchi, Sr. Born in Putnam, she was the daughter of Eva (Cote) Lamondy and the late Clarence A. Lamondy, Jr.
Mrs. Bianchi devoted her life to caring for her beloved husband and children. She loved to draw and was a life-long Beatles fan. She was a homemaker and volunteered as a teacher’s helper at Saint Mary School for many years. Donna enjoyed movies on video, dining out, going to movie theaters and crusin’ with her husband Gerard, the “love of her life.”
In addition to her husband and mother, Donna is survived by her son, Gerard Bianchi, Jr. and his wife Cristina of Putnam; her daughters, Michelle Bianchi of Jacksonville, FL, and Angela Bianchi of Jewett City, CT; her brothers, David Lamondy of CA, and Dennis Lamondy of Putnam; her grandchildren, Ariana Bisson and Erica Gleason; many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Donna’s family from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, November 11, 2009, in the Gilman Funeral Home, 104 Church Street, Putnam, CT 06260. A gathering will begin at 10:00 am on Thursday, November 12, 2009 in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Saint Mary Church of the Visitation, 219 Providence Street, Putnam, CT 06260. Burial will follow in Saint Mary Cemetery, Putnam.
Memorial donations may be made to Legacies, Unity School of Christianity, 1901 NW Blue Parkway, Unity Village, MO 64065-0001, or a monetary donation in Donna’s memory to Saint Mary School, 23 Marshall Street, Putnam, CT 06260.

We want you to know you are in our prayers and thoughts. Donna’s memories will live on as many share them and time will heal the pain that you all feel now. As for know it is in hopes that our prayers will help in this healing of pain and loss. There is no doubt in our mind that she is an Angel looking over us.
