Brooklyn – Diane Rachel McAdams, 92, of Canterbury Rd., died Sunday, September 9, 2012 at the Pierce Memorial Baptist Home. She was the wife of the late George McAdams. Born in New Market, NH, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Amanda (Fontaine) Landry.
As a younger person, Mrs. McAdams was a sister in the Daughters of the Holy Spirit and taught in the Catholic school system. Later in life, she worked as a manager for Brooks Pharmacy and as a highway toll collector for the State of Connecticut.
Diane enjoyed traveling extensively with her husband George through the continental U.S. as well as Alaska. Before moving back to Windham County, she lived many years in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Diane, who was pre-deceased by her brother and six sisters, is survived by several nieces and nephews.
