    Hey buddy

Very aware of how much you and my husband LOVED each other. At times your togetherness made some of us sick (in a good way) but I’m so glad he got to know you in his lifetime. There will NEVER be another Bromance like you, that’s for sure. He was there for you through many hard times and struggles you were having and now he doesn’t have you to help him through a very hard time….losing you and your friendship. Our lives will go on but they were never be the same without you in them. We hope that your kids will come to know the real you….the great you and the awesome person you were!

    Love,

    Vicster

I want to extend my deepest sympathies to Dave’s children, family, and Michelle. I can’t fathom the immense loss and pain. Dave had such a charismatic personality and sense of humor. It has been wonderful hearing so many warm memories from his closest friends these past few days. His death leaves an enormous void in so many lives. I hope that all the people that loved him will be able to find closure and peace with this senseless tragedy.

Mike, Steve, Katie, Kathy, Justina, Michelle, “Grover”, Jay and the kids…my condolences to you all. Dave and I had gotten to be close friends over the years through music. There are a handful of songs that I won’t be able to play now without thinking of him shouting them out as requests or trying to throw me off by singing along with me. :). Good times. Don’t worry fella…I’ll be playing the “originals” too. ~ Fullie

    To Kathryn and Benjamin,
We knew you all on your moving on my home. David a quiet little boy and you in bobby socks. My first memory you becoming Mrs. Benjamin Snead was the day you all enjoyed making your mother and father proud. Now you are left with a father that needs your support more than you’ll now know having lost his beloved wife, your mother and now the joy of his life, his only son, David. Please know you are the man of his life, Benjamin, so take time to grieve with him. The rest will take you up to Woodstock for this purpose and now share what you and Katie have. Zealot will not want your visit but make one any way. He needs your compassion and understanding.

My condolences to you Katie. My thoughts were always part of your family as my family makes their homes near by.

    Phyllis and my man. David

David is with you if you look away you will see his eyes looking back on you thru his children with their hearts breaking under the senseless much unthinkable cause on losing their father. You need to pull your family together. Be happy by your memories on his life not the sadness which healthy now but not for an extended period. Go now.

    To David’s Children,

Be most supportive of your mother now even though you to go on without David. He also makes his presence known by your mind being on prayer on his way home.

Your mind will always remember this horrific event but don’t let it consume you.

Your way to recover will be not to hate the person who did this to your father.

Please know everyone will be happier when this event concludes his much not suspect will turn himself in. Could be awhile before he does.

With deepest sympathy for your loss.

    Phyllis..your father’s friend long ago
