1982 – 2022
Putnam – David Alexander Lowell, oldest of four Brothers, Father and Traveler went to rest on May 27, 2022, at the age of 39.
David was born October 21, 1982, in Fitchburg, MA. He was raised by his aunt, Kathy Dunton and uncle, James Fontaine in Worcester, MA.
Having experienced a tumultuous childhood that only Hollywood could aptly describe, David was given a new chance at life when his 20-year-old, newly married, Aunt took him and his brothers into her home.
David experienced childhood as it was meant, doing things such as: Joining the Auburn, MA Bowling League as a teen; Boy Scouts with Troop 25 on College Hill; And emulating skits from greats such as Adam Sandler with his brother on a Walk-man.
The call of traveling came early for David, as his soul was restless. He set off on his own before the age of 18.
Left to honor David’s memory are his brothers: Hans, Dustin and Timothy; his parents, Michelle (Ferland) Lowell and Russel Lowell; his daughter, Tehya Jasmine Lowell and his sons, Cameron and Anthony Lowell. He also leaves behind many extended family, partners, and friends.
Service have been entrusted to the Gilman Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Church St., Putnam, CT and will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Mass & Metrowest at https://bbbscm.org/donate/

RIP David. You always were kind and welcoming, including me and others, never leaving anyone out, sharing all that you had and you did it with a smile. Generous, understanding, & empathetic to others…especially those that needed it most & were hurting inside.
