It was with shock that I heard the news of David’s illness and great sadness that I hear of his passing.
I met David when he and Mike applied to adopt a red dog through Irish Terrier Rescue Network. His kindness, sense of humor, and love of family were all very evident. We had many pleasant conversations leading up to the day Harry went home with his Dads.
The world lost a true gentleman on September 23, 2012. My deepest sympathies and condolences to David’s family. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

To David’s family,
Please accept our condolences for the loss of your spouse, brother, and uncle. He was too young to pass away, at least by earthly standards.
While we hoped for the best at the onset of David’s illness, time revealed the true extent of his condition and we were saddened by his declining condition.
My personal connection to David, however, spans years, and knowing that he was leaving us saddened me a great deal. Memories of he and I as young teens growing up nearby made him more than just an in-law relation, but a neighborhood friend. He was, indeed, a nice guy, and he made the world a better place for those of us who knew him.
My deepest sympathy to all of you, and may God bless David.

I am truely sorry for Michael and David’s family on the passing of their beloved David. He was a kind spirit who always had a smile and a laugh to share with everyone. I know that he was very happy with his new life in CT. He will suffer no more and be greeted in heaven by his parents and brother. My prayers and thoughts are with Michael and David’s family during this time and my deepest condolences. Love-Chuck

I was so saddened to hear of Dave’s passing. I met Dave through my friends Pete and Rich when we bowled together in Johnston RI. We enjoyed many fun times at Pete and Rich’s home also. My favorite memory was when they were throwing a surprise birthday party for me at Dave’s home and everyone thought someone else had invited me when no one invited me. So they all sang to me and told me about my presents via phone. I remember Dave as being a kind and sincere person. Rest in peace/god bless–Charlene (VanMeter) Barrette
