1941 – 2021
Danielson – David A. Gill, 80, died Sunday evening June 13, 2021, at Hartford Hospital. He was the loving husband of Claudette (Auger) Gill. Born in W. Hartford, he was the son of the late parents William L. and Jeanette M. (Rivard) Gill. He was a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Navy Reserves and U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Gill worked as a funeral director and embalmer for many years. He also retired as an extruder operator for Rogers Corporation.
David was a member of the Knights of Columbus and will be remembered as a deeply religious man. He enjoyed reading, movies, parakeets, and car collectables.
David is survived by his two sons, Patrick Gill and his wife Melissa of Wethersfield and Terence Gill of Providence; a brother, William Gill, Jr. of Chaplin; and four grandchildren, Savannah Gill, Ava Gill, Syrena Gill, and Austin Gill. He was predeceased by his son, James Gill and his sister Carol Wylie.
