
North Grosvenordale – Christopher Paul Petrunia, 22, of Graystone Avenue, Webster, died surrounded by his family Sunday, September 3, 2006, at the home of his parents after a long 8 year battle with leukemia. Born in Putnam he is the son of Deborah (Kozlowski) Landry of North Grosvenordale and the late Raymond J. Petrunia Jr. and step-son of John Landry of North Grosvenordale. He lived in North Grosvenordale most of his life before moving to Webster 4 years ago.
He was a graduate of Tourtellotte Memorial High School.
Besides his parents, he is survived by three brothers, Timothy Petrunia of Southbridge, Jason Landry of Thompson and Jared Landry of East Putnam; one sister, Beth Landry of Thompson; his paternal grandparents, Raymond J. Petrunia Sr. of North Grosvenordale, Harvey & Sylvia Allard of East Thompson and Carol Landry of Roanoke, VA; his maternal grandparents, Peter & Mary Jane Kozlowski of Putnam; a nephew, Bryce Petrunia and aunts and uncles. He will be sadly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Christopher’s family Thursday from 5-8 pm in the Gilman Funeral Home, 104 Church Street, Putnam. A gathering will begin at 10 am Friday morning followed by a funeral service at 11 am in the funeral home. Burial will be in East Thompson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Why Me and Sherry’s House, 1152 Pleasant St. Worcester, MA 01602.
