Putnam – Charlene A. Hanley, 55, of Woodstock Ave, died Monday, September 21, 2015 in her home. Born in Putnam, she was the daughter of Robert and Laura (Bourbeau) Hanley.
Charlene worked in the insurance industry for many years and had attained her CPCU designation. She was a member of the Danielson Kingdom Hall. She enjoyed traveling and enjoyed many happy weekends in Wells, Maine. She was happiest when she was helping others and lived life to the fullest.
In addition to her parents, Charlene is survived by her brothers, Robert Hanley, Jr. of Pomfret, and Jeffrey Hanley and his wife Christine of Putnam; her niece Kelly Hanley; and her nephews, Thomas and Nicholas Hanley; her special friends, Mark Racine, Justine Cleveland; and her longtime best friend, Tammie Morrison. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Her family wishes to give thanks to her brothers and sisters of Kingdom Hall who gave so generously of their time and attention to her needs in the final months of her illness.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service for Charlene at 2:00 pm on Saturday September 26, 2015 in the Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 200 Tracy Rd., Dayville, CT.
