Putnam – Carol (Franklin) Belliveau, 86, of Munyan Rd, passed away surrounded by her loving and caring family on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 in Day Kimball Hospital. On May 25, 1957 she was united in marriage at Saint Mary Church to the late Raymond A. Belliveau who passed away in 1993. She was the daughter of the late Hayden and Edna (Authier) Franklin and Viola Franklin.
Carol was a homemaker and a Girl Scout leader for many years. She was a “Sports Mom,” avid reader, enjoyed puzzles, traveling, was a stain glass artist, a snowbird to Florida, and a fan of Alex Trebek’s Jeopardy.
Carol is survived by her son, Scott Belliveau and his wife Sharon (Jones) of Putnam; her daughters, Lynne Staryk of Ormond Beach, FL, Kim Belliveau and her wife Kim Turley of Scotts Valley, CA, Sandra McNally and her husband Frank of Cape Coral, FL, and Nancy Belliveau and her wife Heather LaFleur of Wilmington, NC; her brother, Douglas Franklin of WA; her sisters, Sandra Racine of Danielson, CT, and Mary Jakubowski of MA; her grandchildren, Mandi, Farrah, Stacey, Hayden, Steven, Jason, and Lisa; and her great-grandchildren, Everett, and Calvin; and her many sewing circle friends and snowbird friends in Okeechobee, FL.
Relatives and friends are respectively invited to a visitation for Carol from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 in the Gilman Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Church St, Putnam, CT with a funeral service to take place at 12:00p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Grove Street Cemetery, Grove St, Putnam CT.
