1983 – 2009
North Grosvenordale – Carla B. Salvietti, 26, of Main Street, died Wednesday, October 7, 2009 in her home. Born in Putnam, she was the daughter of Ralph and Loren (Levy) Salvietti.
Carla had a Degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson and Wales University. She was studying Human Services at QVCC. She was a loving aunt to her niece and nephew, and loved to cook. She enjoyed yoga, reading and watching movies. Carla was artistically talented and enjoyed listening to music. Carla was a very caring person and liked to help others.
Carla is also survived by her sisters, Kerri Osborne, and her husband Taiwo Osborne of Thompson, and Casey Salvietti of Manhattan, NY; her niece Yasmeen; her nephew, T. J.; and her maternal grandparents, David & Jeannette Levy of Pembroke Pines, FL.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Carla’s family from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, October 13, 2009 with a funeral service at 5:00 pm in the Gilman Funeral Home; 104 Church Street, Putnam, CT. Burial will be private.
Memorial donations may be made to United Services, P.O. Box 839,Dayville, CT.
