So sorry for your loss.
I worked with Bryan at Big Lots and saw through his tough exterior, the kindness, non-judgmental and accepting person, that made him who he was.
I’m prayers are with you.

Bryan “Mosh” Erickson was one of the coolest friends I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was a unique individual that had a free mind but was one of the few people someone like myself can really relate to. With someone like him, it was impossible to feel like you were all alone in the world, even if you felt at odds with the norm of society. Me and his other friends are going to greatly miss him. He was a great person, and he’ll always be missed.
RIP Good friend!

Bryan you were such a riot to be around, you always knew how to make me laugh. I have several of our conversations saved on my phone and a voice mail you left me on Christmas Day. I know you had your demons, I tried to push you through it… I know the world is cold. You were and are loved by so many people… if only love could have saved you. Rest Easy my brother. You will always be missed. Your family has my condolences and are in my prayers. Goodnight Moshy. <3

Bryan you were a really close friend to me and It was an honor to be apart of your life! I am so blessed and so grateful to know you and share a great connection with such a beautiful soul! Thank you for everything you have done for me! I will never forget our conversations and phone calls, our laughs and sadness. Our smoke sessions and the desire we had to meet. You will always be close to my heart. You were loved by so many and I know you loved your family and friends! It is so hard to say goodbye but I know I will see you again in the afterlife. Love you Bryan. R.I.P.

I wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to Bryan’s family. There’s such a sense of helplessness when someone we love dies, especially so young. I’d like to share some scriptural thoughts that really helps me. Prayer is so valuable at this time but it’s not that prayer simply makes us feel better. 2 Cor. 4:7 says that God can give us, “… power beyond what is normal “, to go from one day to the next. This does not mean that we no longer cry or that we forget, but it means we recover. The reason we recover is because of our hope. Jesus Christ talked about our hope in John 5:28, “… all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out “. Jesus was referring to the resurrection; this is our hope that helps us recover and gives us power to go on. 2 Cor.1:3 describes our Creator as, “…the God of all comfort “. One way that God comforts us is by moving people who care about us to give us words of encouragement that we need to hear. May the God of comfort (Ps. 83:18) be your comfort now during this time of sorrow.

I am sorry to be finding out this news so late. Bryan and I were really good friends at Thompson Middle School but had a falling out when we got to high school. He really got me into some cool music way back in the day and we would make each other mix tapes. Recently, I used to see Bryan walking along Rt. 12 on his way to and from work. You have to admire someone who is willing to do whatever it takes. I regret not stopping my car to say HI or even offer a ride… Like I said, we had a falling out a long while back and I wasn’t sure. I’m sorry this is what has become of you old friend. (Sic)
