I do not know what to say this man meant a great deal to me.
I loved him and I hated him at times but I always respected him. I will miss him it is hard to believe that such a strong-willed individual could be gone from this world. But he will live on in my heart and my mind and in all of us who knew him. It’s hard to believe 34 years ago this man came in to my life and at the time a 9-year-old boy could not see the strength and intelligence of the man in front of me. Over the years I have learned a great deal, a lot of which I can contribute directly to him.
I hope someday to be half the man he was.
I love you and will miss you.
Grady

April and Family – Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Our friendship began when the boys played football together on WPTP. Bruce was always there. He was a true family man in every respect. His soul has winged its way to Heaven. May Bruce rest in peace in the comfort and the joy of the angels and may each of you find comfort in the memories you have. Rest in Peace Bruce.

I’d like to extend my condolences to the family of Bruce Palmer. Bruce and I were neighbors and friends, and we went to junior and senior high school together where we grew up, played, and swam all of those years ago in South Allentown, and I would thrill to climb the tree in the back of his parent’s house for the excellent view from his tree house. Though we lost touch after high school, I always considered him one of my closest friends from my youth, and am sorry that he has passed from this world.
