1963 – 2010
Brooklyn – Brenda (Poirier) Ericson, 46, of Darby Road, died Tuesday, June 1, 2010 in Day Kimball Hospital. She was the loving wife of Jon C. Ericson. Born in Putnam, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Yvette (Bonneville) Poirier.
Mrs. Ericson worked as a personal care assistant for Allied Community Resources. She was a co-leader for the Girl Scouts Troop # 65105 in Brooklyn, and enjoyed crocheting and karaoke.
In addition to her husband, Brenda is survived by her daughters, Amber Foster and her husband Willis of St. Mary’s, GA; and Jeanie Ericson of Brooklyn; her sisters, Debra Wallace of Brooklyn, and Lori Poirier of Brooklyn; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Brenda’s family for a graveside service at 10:30 am, Tuesday, June 8, 2010 in Saint Mary Cemetery, 230 Providence Street, Putnam, CT 06260. Gilman Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Suite 105, 306 Industrial Park Road, Middletown, CT 06457

Jon, Carl and I are so so sorry for you’re loss. We hope that the angles in hevean are given speacial wings to the angel that was here on earth. Her kindness and thoghtfulness are among the traits that were so dear. Her laughter were the songs of the air we beath. Her smile could melt any ones heart.
