1925 – 2011 

Fabyan – Beatrice (Lemieux) Seraphin, 86, of Sunshine Terrace, died Wednesday, July 06, 2011 in Webster Manor Nursing Home.  Born in Webster MA, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Suzanne (St. Cyr) Lemieux. 

Mrs. Seraphin worked as an injection molder for American Optical for many years.  She enjoyed bowling and traveling.  She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post # 10008 in Quinebaug.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. 

Beatrice is survived by her sons, Allan F. Korch and his wife Mary of Wilsonville, CT, Milton L. Korch and his companion Linda Thorstenson of Winn, ME, and Bradley Paul Korch and his wife Anna of Charlton, MA; her brothers, John Lemieux of Beaufort, NC, Arthur Lemieux of Putnam, David Lemieux of Southbridge, MA; and Robert Lemieux of Dudley, MA; her sisters, Theodora Perrone of Welaka, FL, Helen Dawicki of Webster, MA, Jacqueline Wallen of Wilsonville, CT, and Rose Bernier of Webster, MA; and her dear friend, Frank.  She was predeceased by her daughter, the late Joan Beatrice Mayotte, her brother, the late Joseph Lemieux; and her sisters, the late Rita Czernicki and Theresa Turenne. 

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Beatrice’s family from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, July 8, 2011, in the Valade Funeral Home, 23 Main St., N. Grosvenordale CT.  A gathering will begin in the funeral home at 9:30 am on Saturday, July 9, 2011, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St. Joseph Church, 20 Main St., N. Grosvenordale.  Burial will be private.  For memorial guestbook visit www.GilmanAndValade.com.
