Putnam – Antoinette (Duquette) LaPerle, 99, formerly of N. Grosvenordale, died Tuesday, April 1, 2008 in Matulaitis Nursing Home. She was the loving wife of the late Henry LaPerle. Born in N. Grosvenordale, she was the daughter of the late Pierre and Eva (Courtemanche) Duquette.
Mrs. LaPerle worked as a mill operator for Cluett, Peabody & Co. and later for Baltic Mills and the former Bates Shoe Co. She was a member of St. Joseph Church.
Antoinette is survived by nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am Saturday, April 5, 2008 in St. Joseph Church, 20 Main St., N. Grosvenordale. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Matulaitis Nursing Home, 10 Thurber Road, Putnam, CT 06260. The Valade Funeral Home has been entrusted with her arrangements.
