Putnam – Ann (LePine) Montigny, 71, of Sabin St., died Friday, March 27, 2015 in Davis Place in Danielson. She is the loving wife of 51 years to Robert H. Montigny. Born in Putnam, she was the daughter of the late Napoleon and Beatrice (Champagne) LePine.
Mrs. Montigny worked as a machine operator for DanCo and Line Master Switch.
In addition to her husband, Ann is survived by her son, Wayne Montigny and his wife Charlene Blanchette of E. Killingly; her daughter, Michelle Rickaby and her husband Robert of N. Grosvenordale; her sister, Nancy Shippee and her husband Clifford of Danielson; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother, the late Gerald LePine.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Ann’s family from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, March 29, 2015 in the Gilman Funeral Home, 104 Church St., Putnam. A gathering will begin at 9:00 am in the Funeral Home on Monday, March 30, 2015 followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 am in Saint Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence St., Putnam, CT 06260.
