Ann B. Rhynhart

Woodstock, CT—Ann B. Rhynhart, formerly of Woodstock, CT, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2006 surrounded by family.  She was the beloved wife of Kenneth G. Rhynhart, Jr.

Born in Putnam, she was the daughter of the late Edward Bourgeois and Antoinette Genevieve (Phaneuf) Bourgeois. She lived in Woodstock most of her life and spent the majority of her retirement at her mountain home in Vermont with her husband and her many dogs.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Rhynhart is survived by four loving sons, Kurt Rhynhart and his wife Betsey of Hopkinton, NH, Erich Rhynhart of Boston, MA, Hans Rhynhart and his wife Beth of Woodstock and Karl Rhynhart of Woodstock.  She is also survived by two brothers, Henry Bourgeois (and his wife, Estelle) of North Grosvenordale  and David Bourgeois of New Bedford, MA as well as three sisters, Cecile Bourgeois of Pawtucket, RI, Rachel Buder of Falmouth, MA, and Elaine Bourgeois of Frazier Park, CA, and five grandchildren, Pieter, William, Madison, Emma and Hans (“Schultz”).  She was predeceased by a brother, Edward Bourgeois (who is survived by his wife, Peggy), and a sister, Carol Hamel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 5, 2006 at Most Holy Trinity Church, 568 Pomfret Rd., Pomfret, CT. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Gilman Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Norton Cotton Center at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH 03766.
