Putnam – Anita J. (Perreault) Lambert, 89, of Gilman St., died Tuesday afternoon, July 4, 2017, at Matulaitis Nursing Home. She was the loving wife of the late Albert Lambert. Born in Putnam, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Arlene Rose (Fortin) Perreault.
Mrs. Lambert was a warehouse worker for American Optical, a stitcher for Putnam Woolen and a machine operator for St. Jean Combing.
Anita enjoyed reading, watching television, and doing word search puzzles. She was a communicant at St. Mary Church of the Visitation.
Anita is survived by her step son, Louis G. Lambert and his wife Ruth of Glendale, RI; two grandchildren, Bruce Courtemanche and Lisa Thriverge; and three great-grandchildren, Evan Thiverge, Kimberly Courtemanche, and James Wood. She was predeceased by her step daughter Shirley Pace and three sisters.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Anita’s family from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., on Saturday July 8, 2017, in the Gilman Funeral Home, 104 Church St, Putnam, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence St, Putnam, CT.
