
Putnam-Allan Normand LaRose, 52, of Sabin Street, died Thursday April 6, 2006 after a long illness. Born in Putnam, he was the son of Florence A. (Petrin) LaRose of Plainfield and the late Arthur J. LaRose. He had lived in Putnam and Woodstock for most of his life.
Mr. LaRose worked as a draftsman for Electric Boat. He loved spending time playing with his grandchildren. He was an avid NASCAR, Red Sox and Patriots fan and enjoyed country music, fishing and playing cards.
Besides his beloved mother, he is survived by his loving daughter, Angela L. Baron and her husband Christopher of Danielson, a brother, Leo D. LaRose and his wife Susan of Putnam, a sister Carol A. Artiaco and her husband Edward of Putnam two grandchildren, Halle and Camryn Baron, two nephews and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral will be held Monday at 9:30 am in the Gilman Funeral Home, 104 Church St. Putnam with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St. Mary’s Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence Street, Putnam. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visiting Hours are Sunday from 5-8pm.
