Aldea M. LaBonte
1917 – 2012

Putnam – Aldea M. LaBonte, 94, formerly of Harrison St, died Saturday, May 26, 2012, at Westview Healthcare Center. Born in Putnam, she was the daughter of the late Victor E. and Rose A. (Benoit) LaBonte.

Miss LaBonte worked as a textile worker for Hale Manufacturing. She also worked for the laundry department at Day Kimball Hospital and as a housekeeper for Westview Healthcare Center. She was a communicant of St. Mary Church of the Visitation.

She is survived by several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. She was the sister of the late Ernest LaBonte Sr., Cecile Y. Bodo, and Alice LaBonte.

Aldea’s family would like to thank Dr. Botta and the staff of Westview Healthcare Center for the exceptional care she received during her time there.

Relatives and friends are invited to Aldea’s Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon Tuesday May 27, 2012 in St. Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence St., Putnam. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. For memorial guestbook visit www.GilmanAndValade.com.

    We new each other for about 60 years and she was a dear angel to all who knew her.A very kind person that always cared for others, and will be sorely missed and remembered.
