
Albert Tremblay
1917 – 2009
Thompson- Albert Tremblay, 92, of Brandy Hill Road, died Wednesday, June 24, 2009, in Matulaitis Nursing Home. He was the husband of the late Rachael (Rawson) Bennett who died in 1992. Born in North Grosvenordale, he was the son of the late Leo and Florida (Blanchette) Trembley.
Mr. Tremblay worked as a construction equipment operator and truck driver. He had also worked for the Thompson highway department during the 1940’s. He enjoyed dancing and music Albert was a member of the former Irish American Club.
He is survived by his son, Roger Tremblay and his wife Thelma of Thompson. He was predeceased by his daughter Crystal Ostos and his brother Edmond Tremblay.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Albert’s family on Friday, June 26, 2009 at 9:00am in the Valade Funeral Home, 23 Main St., N. Grosvenordale CT followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Joseph Church, 20 Main St., N. Grosvenordale. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
