Plainfield – Adrien “Peter” LaPorte, 75, of Terrance Dr., died Tuesday, June, 26, 2012 at home with his family by his side. He was the loving husband of Lorraine (Gagne) LaPorte. Born in Norwich, he was the son of the late Adrien P. LaPorte, Sr. and Sophie (Hospod) LaPorte.
Mr. LaPorte worked as an extruder for Triangle PWC for 34 years. Peter was a member of the French club and Polish club. He enjoyed going to Foxwoods, camping, fishing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Peter is survived by his sons; Mark LaPorte and wife Lisa of Franklin, CT, Peter LaPorte of Norwich, CT, and step son, Dennis Lyon and wife Denise of Plainfield, CT, his step daughters; Debra Castonguay and husband John of Thompson, CT, Denise Briere and husband Albert of Putnam, CT, and Wendy Mercer of Florida; ten grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
At Peter’s request, funeral services are respectfully omitted. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Northeastern Connecticut, P.O.
