Danielson – Lesa J. McElhaney, 48, of School St, died Thursday, April 5, 2012. Born in Washington, PA, she was the daughter of George and Phyllis (Gray) McElhaney.

Lesa worked as an ophthalmology technician for Norwich Ophthalmology Group.

In addition to her parents, Lesa is survived by her son, George J. Cote of Danielson; her brothers Phil McElhaney of ME, and Tom McElhaney of VT; her sisters, Amy McElhaney of PA, and Georgeann McElhaney of CO; several nieces and nephews.

    Lesa, my heart, our hopes, I wished I had expressed to you how much I loved you. You felt it, I was afraid of it, but you were persistant. You knew….You gave more of yourself than any one person I know….This world is a lesser place without your being.
    My thought’s and prayer’s go out to your family & friends. But especially to the victims of abuse. You, they deserved better.
    I know that you, my love, will rest in harmony&peace.

    Lesa you will be sadly missed, but You are at Peace now and Georgie has his own angel now, watch over him and know we all loved you.

    to the McHLhaney family.. our family will miss her smiles and hugs. Her face beaming when you asked her about George. Always going out of her way to say i LOVE YOU GUYS.
