Blanche M. LaFlamme

1922 – 2010

North Grosvenordale – Blanche M. LaFlamme, 88, of Riverside Dr., died May 28, 2010, in William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich.  Born in North Grosvenordale, she was the daughter of the late Medard and Florentine (Croteau) LaFlamme.

Mrs. LaFlamme worked in the inspection department for Colts Plastics and enjoyed bingo.

Blanche is survived by her sister, Eleanor Donais of Dudley, MA; her nieces, Jane Beno of No.  Grosvenordale, and Marlene Carosi of Thompson; her nephews, Ronald Donais of Alexandria, VA, Paul Donais and Donald Donais both of Dudley, MA; and her close friend, Lucy Bergeron of Grosvenordale.

She was predeceased by her brother, the late Lionel J. LaFlamme, Sr.; her sister, the late Henriette LaFlamme; and her nephew, the late Lionel J. LaFlamme, Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial for Blanche on Thursday June 17, 2010 at 10:00 am in St. Joseph Church, 20 Main St., N. Grosvenordale.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
